KISS 104 One-Hundred on the Fours Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
1.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
2.Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the One-hundred on the fours Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal state of Georgia residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Cox Media Group, Inc. d/b/a WALR-FM (“Sponsor”) and each of its respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. To be eligible to win, you must not have won another cash prize on any of the Cox Radio Atlanta stations (WSB-AM, WSB-FM, WSBB, WSRV, or WALR) within the past 30 days.
3.How To Enter. The Contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday, December 12, 2011 and end at 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Friday, December 16, 2011.
Internet Entry: To enter, you must become a KISS 104.1 Facebook friend and then visit the official registration page for this Contest via the KISS 104.1 Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/#!/kiss1041fm). Complete all of the required information and follow all posted instructions to submit your entry. As part of the entry process, you will also be asked to tell us what gift you want for Christmas.
Incomplete, forged, altered, automated, mechanically-reproduced, lost, late, misdirected, garbled or illegible entries will be disqualified. Sponsor will not be responsible for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s Contest application service provider. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent, provided that such person satisfies all other Contest eligibility requirements. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons who submit false or misleading entry information or who Sponsor determines to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned.
Maximum one (1) entry per person or household and per email address during the Contest Period.
The use of multiple identities and/or accounts is prohibited, and any attempt to obtain more than the stated number of entries will void that participant’s entries and may result in participant’s disqualification.
Listen and Win: Listen for your name to be called daily at approximately 10:04 a.m., 11:04 a.m., 12:04 p.m., and 1:04 p.m., 2:04 p.m., 3:04 p.m. and 4:04 p.m. (E.S.T.) from Monday, December 12, 2011 through Friday, December 16, 2011. Once a name has been announced, that person has fifteen (15) minutes to call 404-741-0014 and be declared a winner of $100 prize, payable in the form of a check; failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Contest and forfeiture of prize.
Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the call-in line or for a contestant’s failure to reach the call-in line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call. In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to 404-741-0104 during a call-in period of the Contest, the call-in period affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
By participating in the Contest, you agree to be bound by Sponsor’s Visitor Agreement (http://www.kiss104fm.com/visitor_agreement/) and Privacy Policy (http://www.kiss104fm.com/privacy_policy/), which are hereby incorporated by reference.
4.Winner Selection. Thirty-five (35) winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Each winner will be announced daily at approximately 10:04 a.m., 11:04 a.m., 12:04 p.m., and 1:04 p.m., 2:04 p.m., 3:04 p.m. and 4:04 p.m. (E.S.T.), and each winner has fifteen (15) minutes to call 404-741-0104 to claim his/her prize. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Contest and forfeiture of prize.
5.Prizes and Odds. Thirty-five (35) winners will receive a $100 payable in the form of a check (“prize”).
Sponsor will be responsible for selecting winners based on available budget, and the decisions of Sponsor will be final in all respects.
The ARV of any prize awarded in the Contest shall not exceed $1,00.00.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6.Winner Notification and Acceptance. Sponsor will notify winners during their initial telephone call to WALR-FM upon verification of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Winners will be announced on-air daily from Monday, December 12, 2011 through Friday, December 16, 2011 at approximately 10:04 a.m., 11:04 a.m., 12:04 p.m., and 1:04 p.m., 2:04 p.m., 3:04 p.m. and 4:04 p.m. (E.S.T.)All winners must call 404-741-0985 within fifteen (15) minutes after their name is announced, or the prize will be forfeited.
Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of sender’s postmark. Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation the Internet, or further compensation. Any telephone calls placed to the WSB-FM call-in line may be recorded for use on-air any time. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. 7.Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
8.Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
9.Sponsor. The KISS 104 One-hundred on the fours Contest is sponsored by Cox Media Group, Inc. d/b/a WALR-FM The decisions of Sponsor and Contest judges regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
